  17. <p>    The Who aren't who they used to be. The archetypal renegade
  18. band not only tore concerts and parties to pieces; they burned
  19. themselves out. Drummer Keith Moon died of a drug overdose in
  20. 1978. Bandleader Pete Townshend's hearing is shot. In 1982
  21. Townshend, lead singer Roger Daltrey and John Entwistle
  22. performed a farewell tour and drifted apart. Last week, however,
  23. the Who announced they will make a 25th anniversary tour,
  24. including a revival of their 1969 rock opera Tommy. "I've only
  25. just about recovered from seven years ago," says a much mellowed
  26. Townshend. "I hope to get through this with only a few aching
  27. limbs."
